LED Block Color Options: White
White LED block lights are widely used in indoor spaces to provide a uniform and soft lighting atmosphere. Color temperature, color rendering index, and color tolerance determine the color, quality, and consistency of white light.
- Correlated Color Temperature determine the color of light.
Warm light（<3500K）：Bringing a warm and relaxing atmosphere, suitable for bedrooms and restaurant.
Neutral light（3500K-4000K）：Approaching natural light, soft and comfortable, commonly used in offices and shops.
Cold color light (>5000K): bright and refreshing, stimulating concentration, suitable for sports arenas.
- Color rendering determines the ability of a light source to reproduce the true color of an object, directly affecting the visual experience and spatial texture.
Ra：Ra>80 as a basic requirement,Ra>90 as a high color rendering light sources.
R9：Specially measuring the restoration ability of red (such as skin color, meat), which is particularly critical in retail and medical scenarios.
TM-30-20：The new international standard evaluates light source performance more accurately through Rf (color fidelity) and Rg (color saturation). Light sources with Rf>90 and Rg ≈ 100 can present natural and full colors.
- SDCM is an indicator that describes the consistency of light and color
Within SDCM 3, the human eyes can hardly distinguish color difference.
SDCM 5 or above,the human eyes can distinguish color different when installed side by side.
LED Block Color Options: Fixed and Variable Color
The color block lights adopt modular design and support full-color dimming and color matching LED lighting modules. The products include fixed single color/RGB/RGBW/RGB+CCT/SPI/pastel light series, which achieve hierarchical and dynamic lighting effects through independent block light control. They are commonly used in shopping mall showcase, airport waiting halls, and advertising light boxes. The flowing iridescent light and shadow quickly attract customers' attention and enhance the brand's visual texture.
Where and how to install led Block
Block lights are mainly used for advertising light boxes, signage, soft film ceilings, irregular light boxes, etc. Block lights can provide uniform and high brightness backlighting, effectively improving the display effect of the picture, and support single piece cutting, adapting to the layout requirements of various irregular light boxes.
Dimming and Color Control
Can block lights be dimmed? As long as the appropriate controller is matched, dimming can be achieved. Because the block lights are used together as a whole, the consistency of dimming is very important. If the control method is not selected correctly, it is easy to have problems such as some modules lighting up quickly and some modules lighting up slowly, and signal synchronization. The following three methods have been validated by the market and are more suitable control methods for soft film ceiling applications:
1、Dimmer+Constant Voltage led driver+LED Controller+Power repeater,dimming consistency ,suitable for small projects.
2、DALI, Capable of individual calibration, unified instruction issuance, bidirectional feedback, high synchronization accuracy, suitable for medium and large projects, and connected to DALI system for unified control.
3、DMX512, Synchronization accuracy in microseconds, color temperature/brightness can be independently controlled through channels, suitable for dynamic lighting effect scenes.
