Light source selection criteria
1.1 The following four core parameters determine the quality of the light source:
CRI:The color rendering index ability of a light source on an object is called the color rendering index, which compares it with the appearance of the object under the same color temperature or reference light source. The color rendering coefficient of sunlight is defined as 100, and the closer the value is to sunlight, the more it can restore the color of the object itself.
CCT:correlated color temperature (CCT) is a measure of the "color" of a light source, expressed in Kelvin (K). It corresponds to the temperature of an ideal black body that would emit light of a similar "color." CCT is measured on a scale from 1,000 to 10,000 K. Different colors of light can impact our mood and behavior.
SDCM:Color tolerance refers to the allowable variation in emitted light color between different LEDs that are designed to produce the same color.In the LED lighting industry, color tolerance is usually measured in SDCM (Standard Deviation of Color Matching), also known as MacAdam steps.Lower SDCM means higher color consistency,Higher SDCM means more visible color differences.
Efficiency:Efficiency refers to the amount of light output from a LED light source in relation to the amount of electrical power it consumes. It is usually expressed as a ratio or percentage and measures how much light is produced per watt of electricity used. The higher the efficiency, the more energy-efficient the LED light is and the less heat it generates.
1.2 Selection of LED product types.
Soft film ceiling light sources mainly include diffuse reflection straight strip lights, diffuse reflection block lights, and LED sheet. Diffuse reflector light strips and block lights both have large angle lenses, wide illumination range, high brightness, and uniform brightness when applied to the light film as a whole. LED sheet has sufficient brightness, uniform light output, and no dark areas.
If the ceiling depth is 20 centimeters, the spacing between the light strips should be less than 20 centimeters to ensure that the light shines on the soft film without shadows, that is, the spacing between the light strips is less than the depth of the light box
